Karin Wiesel Holmes is an Emmy-nominated Set Decorator and visual storyteller based in New York City. Over the last 3 decades, Holmes has delved into a variety of mediums, spanning from film and television to interiors and lifestyle platforms. Holmes’s commitment to detail and narrative emerge in all of her thoroughly researched designs, and her tenure on acclaimed shows like “Ray Donovan,” “Girls,” and “Raising Kanan” attest to her ability to build layered, character-driven worlds in a number of different design styles. Over time, her great passion for establishing character depth through visual elements has only grown stronger, and her keen eye for design has only become sharper. On her most recent project, seasons 2 and 3 of HBO’s “And Just Like That,” Holmes had the unique opportunity to reconnect with a familiar story and an even more iconic look—one she herself worked to establish two decades prior on “Sex and the City,” where she was the Set Decorator from 1999-2003.

Holmes also serves as an East Coast Representative for the Set Decorators Society of America. Outside of work, you can find her searching for inspiration at museums and restaurants throughout the city, spending time with her husband Chris and daughter Izzi, or talking about chairs.

Holmes is available for film and television work, as well as interior decoration and event styling.
